... everything that the community would need. At that time it was more isolated, not within such easy reach of Liverpool proper. ... where we get a chance to pull a pint behind the bar. The pub is so much smaller than it looks on screen and when you go through the toilet door you end up in Tyrone’s kitchen!




Then it was on to the Street itself which was quite surreal……it is all so familiar. It’s also impressive that it’s not 'fake’ but all made with bricks and mortar and those cobbles are really hard to walk on! ...

Anyway, we managed to skirt the barricades and found parking quite close, then on our way to walk round the cycle track area and see what was happening, we called in at St. George's Hall, another fine Liverpool landmark.
