... some camping grounds, 'Free beaches', and an older Turkish man polishing his Honda Gold Wing? He and David had a chat about bikes!

Kas is a lovely seaside town - only about 7,000 inhabitants. It's very quiet at the moment. About four couples staying at our hotel. The temperature is about 19 degrees and sunny. Just right!
In December and January it is around 40 degrees and over-run with ...

To Kas - Another Bus Journey

This morning it was raining in Antalya - the city of over 300 sunny days a year!!
So we got a taxi to the bus station. The taxi driver was very persistent and kept trying to talk us into a taxi ride to Kas instead of taking the bus. The price started at 160 Euro and was down to 130 Euro by the time we got to the station.

While a tad unnerving that he had gone into my bag, I was very happy he took the initiative.

... We sat up here for our dinner tonight and ate the most delicious food. It feels like paradise here!
The owner showed me her 2 children a baby and toddler and told me she is from Belgium and met her husband when he was running another hotel in the town and she came here on holidays.
So far Turkey has been full of surprises for me. I never thought it would be so diverse with so many different faces and the people are lovely.
