... The room was decorated like if you were staying at your grandmother's house. It felt like home. They had a swimming pool too. Noah got really sick by the afternoon. He had a fever so we decided to stay there and rest. We played at the pool. We ate a lot the delicious home made dishes that they had for dinner that night (we really miss home made food!). ... ruins, of towns, temples and fortresses, in various states of disrepair. Many have not been the subject of any formal archeological work (that I could see), and chunks of pottery, tile and other artifacts still poke up through the dirt. It was actually more interesting and exciting to roam these hidden ruins than visiting the rebuilt, restored and sign-posted ones. They actually felt like... ruins! Like perhaps you were the first person in 2,000 years to set ...

We didn't bring cameras again, because there was no way to keep them dry in the canyon. So I only have before and after shots for now...the guides take photos with waterproof cameras and then sell you a CD afterwards. I'll try to load more action shots from Tracy's computer later, as hers has the CD driver.

... the pool at our lovely pensıon we recovered wıth a swım. Back down to the warf tonıght for beer and kebab.
30/04/2013: After a day of swımmıng and lazıng ın the shade or walkıng we headed down to the harbour for a pıcnıc. The people at the pensıon gave us plates and utensıls and we went to the supermarket and got our supplıes. Cheap as chıps and so enjoyable.
