The DAY has finally come!!! I have been waiting for this trip for a really long time and it's finally there.

I woke up at around 7 am and started putting stuff together. I did not have much time for packing as I waited for the the very last minute and had to attend Sarah and Jason's wedding the day before. I was a little worried that I would forget something but then thought I should embrace this and ...

By good fortune, certainly not good planning, I had camped within half an hour from my destination which was the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Arrived at Manchester Airport feeling very jet lagged and was greeted by the welcome sight of Sarah holding a cup of coffee for me! Did manage to stay awake all day and fell asleep feeling relieved that my jet lag would soon lessen considerably.

August 3rd - picked up my little red car and soon got the hang ...

La course folle / A crazy trip

A travel blog entry by karine-julie on Jul 01, 2014

... from running through the Pearson airport terminals, the lady at the Air Canada counter informs me that it is impossible to make it to my 6pm flight. She puts me standby on the 7pm flight and confirmed on the 9h30pm flight! I hurry up, skip dinner and get the last place on the 7pm flight. What a relief! After all, my flight schedule was all arranged so I arrived a few minutes before my man... I finally arrive in Montreal, after 8 months of absence. I ...

What I packed in my carry-on suitcase

    ... br> - Sleep eye mask
    - Small drawstrings pack for day wear

    What was too much:
    - The black closed shoes. I was thinking it would be useful for cold evenings out or nice restaurant dates. But evenings were not that cold (and I could wear my running shoes if needed), and for nice restaurant dates, I would rather walk in my comfy Birks than less comfy black shoes.
    - Scarves. I only used 2 out of the 3 scarves I brought.
    - Electronics.
    - There was ...
