New place new friends. Fortaleza was cool because right when I got there we went out. Some Chileans brought a big bottle of pisco and before you know it we all were riding happy on the way to pink elephant. It's a popular expensive night club they have here in Brazil. Anyways the next several days it was pretty much the same. Fortaleza to me seems a little rough and unsafe. I'll admit I had a good time here and my portuguese is getting ...

between the team and the travelling fans. Football is a cruel game and good teams generally find ways to win when all seems lost and the pain of defeat stings all the more. Mexico’s reputation is now ...

Breakfast at our local boteco counter the next day where we also picked up a rotisserie chicken and some bits for a picnic in the famous botanical gardens. We spent nearly three hours wandering around the beautiful settings complete with a lily pond, orchid house, palm tree avenue and waterfalls - a real oasis of calm in the bustling city. We obviously had to leave in time to get to a bar for the next match and found ourselves in the upmarket neighbourhood of ...

Travelled to Fortaleza today, has been a rough day.. Our flight from Manaus to Forteza had one stop over in Belen however we didn't have to leave the plane which was so mint. We also bumped into Simon Harrison, a dude that went to Uni in Wellington. He was travelling with his family and was randomly on the same airport leaving at the same time and on the same plane as ...
