When we arrived at the pier, again, people ambushing us asking which ferry we wanted to take and where we were going, ugh, they just wouldn't leave us alone. And it didn't stop there. Even on the beach when we arrived in Mindoro the vendors approach you ALL the time trying to sell you things and it's impossible to tell when it's for real and when it isn't.

... The bane of technology is that work never leaves you alone, even when you're thousands and thousands of miles away about (7000miles?) from home/office.

We'll be in the capital for all of one day, hopefully stock up on sunblock, more reading materials, and then catch our flight to Palawan, where we will leave Northern Luzon and head into the second leg of our Philippines trip: the beaches of Palawan.

I hope we get to Manila swiftly and safely!
