So everyone left on the 7 week tour, & I'm manning the fort... Doodle went under a dresser & got in a sticky rat trap - at least we know who the rat is around here! I have no idea where the rat trap ended up... Pi brought in a flower in a pot from outside before she left, so I dealt with the ant family... All the trash cans & recycle bins are full. There ...

Travel day today, 5 1/2 - 6 hours. Went over a bridge that was named after Harriet Tubman. Kyler learned about her in school and memorized a poem about her and he was excited to be able to recite the whole poem, thank you miss Harris!! Stopped at Costco in savannah, gotta restock! The campground is beautiful, completely shaded and we have a 60 foot site. Can even start a fire... Yeah right. Hot and humid here. We were surprised. Haha. Looking forward to going to the ...

After a most peaceful sleep we enjoyed finally waking up in the middle of nowhere. It has been so hard finding free places to stay in the USA compared to Canada. Hopefully we will see more in the future but it`s definitely not easy. We spent the morning driving to Savannah, Georgia. We parked right next to Forsyth Park and decided to walk around the city. I immediately really enjoyed the feel of Savannah. Its got a very romantic and whimsical ...

... could have spent an entire day roaming around the grounds, but our time was running short so we cruised back to downtown Savannah to take a look at some of the amazing historic homes lining her streets. Its hard to decide which is the more beautiful city, Charleston or Savannah. We walked down to the riverfront and checked out a few shops and got some delicious praline ice cream before heading out of town. We will definitely be back ...
