... Marina & small tourist shops. We also visited the Georgia Sea Turtle Centre where they provide informative displays, educational programs. The talk we attended was so interesting, I hadn't realized that the turtles back bones are part of the shell & what complex bodies they have. Did you know they don't have teeth but a hard carotene like mouth guard strong enough to crush hard shells!! The loggerhead is the ...

... for a walk down to the riverfront and took a couple of pictures and went into an antique book store. I saw Trixie Belden books for $25 for a pack of 4 or 5! The frontage is all made of cobblestone and is very old and beautiful. They had some lovely and quaint shops dotted down there. We had to be back to load onto our organised Trolley ride through the squares of Savannah at 1.00 pm. We were given a map and some discounts and a sticker for a full days ...

... could have spent an entire day roaming around the grounds, but our time was running short so we cruised back to downtown Savannah to take a look at some of the amazing historic homes lining her streets. Its hard to decide which is the more beautiful city, Charleston or Savannah. We walked down to the riverfront and checked out a few shops and got some delicious praline ice cream before heading out of town. We will definitely be back ...
