    ... bikes, bicycles and pedestrians! The beautiful Cua Dai Beach attracted us yet again. Another day of decadence and laziness was necessary after the busy day yesterday. We lunched at a cafe in the edge if the sand and, after five and a half hours of lolling on a lounge and swimming in the warm waters, we were forced off the beach by a strong off shore wind.     ... the street to "Les Gardin". It was a restaurant that catered to the tourist crowd. It looked like a sports bar and all the servers spoke English very well. Our "server" was Loi (I put server in quotes because she didn't really serve us - she just hung around our table talked to us and played with the kids all evening showing them how to fold napkins and do origami).     ... really friendly considering we were getting in the way of their hard fought earnings. The evenings in Hoi An are dominated by the colourful lanterns that are lit in most restaurants and they also have a lantern market as you will see from one of the pictures.
