    ... game! Two Alberta teams playing for silver and gold...so, no matter who gets first or second, Alberta wins... There are a lot of tired guys this morning...us with the party, the guys in the arena parking lot said there were double the trains last night and a couple of times they both seemed to be going through in opposite directions...and the guys staying at hotels nearby had planned to hit the bars last. ...

    ... Bob Christiansien of Blaine Washington joining the group a bit later. Pam and Bob are long time travelling companions of Olga & Stan whom we had met on a few occasions earlier.     In Paris we reconnected with friends who had packed up and moved halfway around the world, almost as if to prove to themselves that they could do it. I think that's what this was for us. It was far from permanent--though we all wish holidays could last forever--but the nervous trepidation of a long journey away from home cannot be discounted. We wondered how we'd manage to get along after such a long time cooped up together ...

    ... it was more like drizzle.

    Nana, Grandad, Baba and Gido all met us at the airport. We had all missed them and I know they had missed us a lot too. We all stopped for lunch at Boston Pizza on the way home. Back at our house, we made it to about 7pm before turning in for the night.

    I had dreamed of this trip and planned it for months. We were blessed with amazing weather, safe travels and memories to last us a lifetime. It really was the best vacation ...
