The rest of December went pretty slow. Does not mean I was bored here, but when you look forward to see someone again soon, the time literally stops . However, the Christmas time was great here, I was so busy that I literally looked for hours to sleep between my shifts and christmas events. And my whole family was afraid that I will have boring and lonely Christmas this year :-)
It all begun with a trip to Red Deer for the Christmas party, ...
... trick...he transfers the beer from one glass to another, then drinks it without ever using his hands. Weird, and so much fun. I was so busy taking pics that I don't think I really got to see what was going on. Just before the rains hit, we went inside and Rick pulled out his guitar and we all sang American Pie and other stuff. Good times. ... though. Plus had a big ass grin on. Wahoooooooo.
My day just got way better. About here I got a txt from Mike....he was on the plane next to me. I offered to send a drink over....but It might be a problem I always say its the thought that counts. Seems he was in the back but sounded in good spirits.
I got all cozy....and then the Senior Stewardess I talked to earlier....walked by and stopped...was in disbelief...I know you she said...how ...
... last 10 days, plus working every other weekend so busy all the time. I would like to thank Michelle for hosting a get together when Perry and I briefly came to town it was great to see those we did and very sorry for those we didn't, next time we come we agreed less work and more social. ... to go for a look around Fort Edmonton. Basically it is Edmonton throughout time, where possible they used original buildings or recreated them using traditional methods. It was really interesting as they had actors in traditional dress etc. 'living’ in the house/forts etc. so you could ask them questions and try out some of the trades. They had a fort, the 1800s and 1920s, with your entrance ...
