... down for a nice visit, and we had another lunch in the Tiki Bar. As it turns out, it is the coolest and most comfortable spot on my property, especially when it is hot. It was great to see my folks, and my mom brought enough food to feed most of Sonoma County. So later on some of my neighbors dropped by for happy hour and we had plenty of chow for munchies. Another great day!

While I have been thinking about becoming an au pair since August, it was only recently that things solidified with the family and I finally really knew where I was going. Our favorite folks live across the way. Harry and Nancy are THE BEST! They give us tomatoes from their garden, bring us fish from their annual trips to Mexico, tell us great stories about the old days in Monte Rio ...
