      We arrived at the quaint Schoolhouse Canyon campground after a short two hour drive. The campground has been family operated since the 1960s.       The first was this appears to be the end of cheap marinas. Back home we've paid as much as $70 to moor our boat at a dock for the night. While that's the extreme for sure, we regularly pay $30 or more per night plus a separate charge for electricity. So far on this trip $21 is the most we've paid for a night. Electricity has always been included. Spud Point Marina was $30.

      The Applewood Inn was in the middle of no where in the town of Guerneville. I would have never discovered this place, but luckily TravelZoo had an offer for a 3 course meal, with wine, for $79. It wasn't until after I purchased the deal that I discovered it was a "Michelin" rated restaurant. Wow!
