    ... fate of all photographers of not being the only one there to take THE shot of the falls. There were many experts including tripods and humungous lenses and they will get in the way. One guy in particular in a bright red top stuck himself halfway up the falls complete with tripod and managed to foul up everyone's shot. Undaunted, we scaled higher and "shot" photos around him.

    ... where we spoke to the nicest person who answered my questions and told us about a $5 pass that covered all our stops for one week!! That beats paying $3 at every stop just to take some pictures or do a short hike. We started using that pass right away by stopping at the Glen Ellis waterfall trail down the road. It was steep but relatively short and well worth every step. I love a good waterfall.

    ... there was another group further down from us whose route intercepted with the third pitch.

    What did this mean for us? This meant we were waiting for like at least 2 hours before getting on the climb and it meant a slow go because there were 3 other groups ahead of us.

    I honestly didn't keep an eye on the time, as I was busy trying to stay warm because the sun was moving behind the rock and we were left in the shadow which was quite cold! The wind was ...
