Stage one of our journey...arrived at Bristol bus station (an hour early). Having a coffee and a blueberry muffin to keep us going until we get to the airport. I found one of Tilly's cat hairs on my trousers and felt a bit emotional and homesick already. Finally, today's the day! We fly tonight from Heathrow. This morning will be spent finishing off final bits of packing-checking what's packed, unpacking it and repacking it! The house will have a final quick clean to leave it tidy for our house guests Tim and Hannah, amble food will be laid out for the cats, Adam will spend ages pretending to tie up all the loose ends of work and I will faff around deciding which shoes to wear to the airport. Then we will be on our ...

Will have to use an ATM in Thamel in a couple of days or we will be moneyless! Later in ...

I collected some oyster shells and soon enough it was 2:30 and time for tea. Our ticket was good for a restaurant called The Swan and they really treated you like royalty. We were given a list of teas and I decided on the popcorn flavor to which the server gave me a weird look. Suddenly, an array of tiny sandwiches and pastries ...

... effects, Diagon Alley and the crowning end of the tour, the huge model of Hogwarts. The whole tour experience was amazing! We had little time to spare … just enough time to gather the souvenirs in the gift shop that we were dumped into after the last part of the tour. Surprised?

Waiting for the bus back to London, we had some snacks and sat outside. We didn’t have to wait very long. We rested a bit on the little over an hour bus ride back to ...
