In drie tuktuks reden we met z'n zevenen richting ons hotel. Jasvant en ik deelden een tuktuk en wij kwamen als eerste aan bij de ingang van het hotel en toen was het wachten. De anderen arriveerden maar niet en we kregen al twijfels of ze wel bij het juiste hotel afgezet waren. Na 10 minuten kwamen we erachter dat ze om de hoek op ons te wachten stonden bij de andere ingang. Tja :)

Our bus was parked about a block or so away and they followed us the whole way, even though we were saying no the whole time. We got on the bus, and they were blocked from the bus by the driver. That didn't stop them from knocking on our window from the outside, still shouting new, lower prices and trying to bargain ...
Living like a Sultan
If this is the third world, then sign me up! The campus of St. John's is a little utopia in a chaotic city. Meticulously managed gardens cover the grounds, and students, professors and doctors stroll about like they're at a countryside tea party. There actually is even a universal tea time at 10:30am, where vendors dole out masala chai and biscuits for about 10 cents a cup.
