Once I was on the ice, everything I had learnt in Hobart came back to me and I was gliding across the ice like an ice...not princess...an ice...something a bit less than a princess.
This was until i forgot that I had a tow-pick and that if it touched the ice, I would have every chance of face planting.
And let me tell you.
It was not a fall to knees and then a little skid kind ...
... someone (me) didn't read the timetable. Well I did read the time table...I didn't read the events time table.
So we got there as the junior prelim finals for Figure Skating were happening.
We sat and watched the ice-skating.
Katie, Jean and I have decided we are going to take out 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the under 4 ...
... a watered down version of Sunkist, but apparently it sells more than Coca Cola!
To be 100% honest, I don't see how..
But yeah, my night was full of dancing and laughing and (writing this from a couple weeks later) it bloody hurt at work the net morning!
