... in the neighborhood. Then I went home, ate some lunch, and mapped out the malls in an effort to hunt for a males bracelet. One I am going to give to my Scottish guy friend.

I went to the bus stop to try to catch the bus, and it wasn't due for 15 minutes so I started walking to City Centre, since it only a 25 min walk. ... by giving up my life for financial freedom. Sorry, I studied far too much psychology to understand the shortfalls of money.

On non-academic note, I am loving Scotland more and more. I am networking and making new and interesting people. I am recognizing the various accents and learning to speak in the native tongue. At this rate my friends I may never come back. Let's just say its a good thing that i have few good reasons to go back to the states.

... something special from Scotland! When they were re-sizing David’s ring, we decided to grab some soup from a little Vegetarian shop around the corner. Until this moment we have been in warm weather and have worn sandals, dresses and shorts, but we got a lovely wake-up call once we hit Edinburgh. Welcome to the 50s and 60s! Soup was a necessary item for us since David and I were in sandals, shorts and no jackets!

So today was the beginning of what will be a semi-broken paid leave from work (as I didn't know I had 48 hours paid leave to take before the end of the month).

What did I do?

Swept the flat, cleaned the bathroom, and the kitchen, did the washing, and posted a card.

Then came home, ate an entire punnet of grapes, had 6 cups of tea and read my book.
