... The result of a lot of money and 12 months of planning: finally reality connecting with planning via computer in a dark room. I woke up early (sunrise is 4.30 or so) and set out to take a photo. It was almost perfectly still, reflecting this oddly symmetrical and isolated lighthouse with an ok sunrise. We felt gross later that day... It was disgusting and we were exhausted. I have learnt a lot over the past 9 months about not expecting anything from anyone. Anything that needs to be done needs to be earned or done by myself and only by me.

... and churches and heaps of castle-like buildings, some of which are now converted pubs and casinos. Stumbled across this beautiful old graveyard alongside a church, right in the heart of town. Walked around in the drizzle, taking photos of surnames that I recognised. Lots of 'Bruce' names ( my mum's family name) and also found a 'Moir' and a 'Troup.'
