We got to our hotel, Dubai Nova Hotel. It's a good thing it was cheap because we're in the slums and it's not very nice. Maybe that's why it was cheap? Haha, but on the plus, it's about 1km to the metro and it costed us $4au for both of us to get a return ticked to the Dubai Mall; which was amazing by the way. Every brand you can think of was there. After awhile we decided to leave Emirates mall and head to my cousins baseball game which was very American, there is a hot dog stand etc and there are a lot of American expats. After that we headed to another mall! This time it was Dubai mall which has an aquarium, ice skating ring and a theme park inside. It was HUGE! Here I went to shops like ...

Manchester to Dubai. Done!

A travel blog entry by roosafee on Jan 06, 2014

Well after saying a teary goodbye to Bubs and Pops, I set off through security and managed to get myself to the 'escape lounge' at Manchester Airport. There I was greeted at the desk by a lady who could tell I had been crying... I don't know what gave it away, maybe my red face and puffy eyes? She sat me down in the quiet ...
