... first lot. The tastes were simply divine. Octopus, prawns, crab, jamon and other obviously fresh produce prepared with great skill.

We wandered back to our apartment in the magical evening with the appearance of the Baha bathed in the many lights perhaps even more spectacular than its daytime appearance. But it'd be a pretty tough call to select one or the other as the best. San Sebastián is a truly beautiful place and will be worthy of a much longer stay when we next return to ...

... El Ray as we drove up to the volcanic summit of the island called El Teide. It was a pretty fun road full of switchbacks that took us through every conceivable landscape from rainforest to snow to pine trees to mists so thick you couldn't see ten feet down the road. Late breakfast inside as cloudy but after weather improved we go for drive to Chipude stopping off at the Airport to see the magnificent terminal that is only used twice a day!
