          ... 30. We then got on to a mini bus with took us to the ferry point. This took around an hour and the boat about 1:30hr. Once off the boat and on to Koh samui we needed to travel across the island to our resort. We grabbed a taxi taking a further hour. we arrived about samui mermaid resort at around 3pm. Finally!           ... We quickly booked a hotel for 3 nights this morning. It looks lovely with a swimming pool that we can use for some gentle exercise and help us re-gain some strength.

          We left the hospital in a taxi and were shocked when we arrived at our hotel. We are in the middle of nowhere, bloody nowhere! I burst into tears. We need a shop for drinks and snacks. We need a pharmacy just in case and we need an ATM as we have very little money.

          ... bus at last! Richard was in charge of loading the bags on, and Amy got the seats. Phew, now for the drive to the next pier before another boat. The bus drive was fine, comfortable and went quick enough. Rich even finished his book at last. We arrived at Surat Thani Pier (i think thats what it was called) and we jumped on the last boat which would take us all the way to Koh Samui.
