    ... around MaeCile collected us and drove us to the Hot Springs. Wow - they were SO good. Spent about 6 hours there in total! Just didn't want to go! They smelt a bit sulphur-y but that was mainly in the indoor pool. Outside was fine and there were loads of different temperature pools, slides, basketball hoops...One of MaeCile's neighbours came by with a load of soft drinks in a cooler that he wanted to get rid of so ...

    ... houses that were open to the public and free of charge.  We were warmly welcomed into one of then soaking pools by some locals who touted the benefits of the natural 104 degree mineral water. It is hard to describe, but I must say the water did feel "special" .     We are currently in this small town which claims to have the "worlds Largest hot water spring", but who really knows, I googled it and there is a resort in Colorado that claims the same thing and for all I know the Rotorua's hot pools could be larger. Considering the claim there weren't many people here, in fact the population of the town, not counting visitors is 3900 or there ...
