    Originally today, I was travelling to Lisieux to visit the area where St Therese, the Little Flower, grew up. There is not a regular train to Lisieux from Rouen and you 'take your chances' when trying to book. Once I arrived in Rouen I attempted to book but the first available train was Thursday . . . I leave on Thursday morning so . . . no Liseux.

    ... witnessed. No wonder the locals ensure the visitors know. The presentation has been put together by an organisation in Rouen to celebrate and promote all that it has to offer. Two shows, one following the other tell of the history of Rouen and then of Creation, both done in an impressionist style. The presentations are shown three times each night: 9.30pm, 10.00pm and 11.00pm. Simply stunning!
