    ... being connected by a bridge. The town is approximately 32 km west of the city of Plymouth and 11 km south of Liskeard. Fortunately we had a couple of hours to spend in this picturesque town. First recorded in the 14th century, the bridge is believed to have been built in the 13th century to enable pack horses to cross the river, carrying tin to the stannary town of Tavistock.     Additionally, inside the room it was 3 rickety steps up from the bedroom to the bathroom. An adventure in the middle of the night. Miserable night.
