First destination for the day is the museum of local hero, Nikola Tesla. This entertaining, albeit, small museum housed a number of interactive inventions, including the famous Tesla coil. Once our tour concluded we were picked up by our personal guide Nikos, in a silver Mercedes and driven out into the Serbian countryside. Early start and no wıld boar attacks! Got us 11 hours sleep, much needed after frıvolıtıes of Budapest. Grey skıes and a wee chıll ın the mornıng aır. ... to the border. Only to be driving down the road to a closed border crossing! Not sure what was going on but we had to turn around and find another way in. Luckily it wasn't too far back. As we had changed route we also changed destination, so we were now on our way to a town called Novi Sad. We parked at a camp site outside of town- quiet, rural, over-priced, and will head into town tomorrow.

... Sunday Morning Traffic Should be Light

At the tourist office the lady confirmed that even though it is not allowed, yes, we could take our bikes on a bus or train to Belgrade, although she discouraged the later without explaining. She agreed that the town Sremski Karlovsci only 9 tough km away, would be a lovely place to spend the night as was another closer to Belgrade.
