... and thinking that if this had been in Melbourne or Sydney, I would not have been able to afford to walk into the place. So after relaxing and enjoying another nice meal - I paid my 330 Baht and left a 40 Baht tip - about $12 all up. I thought that was a bargain...

Very happy and pleased with myself, I headed back to the hotel and a good nights rest. I did fine until I woke around midnight and there was a storm raging ...

... here and love. It was a successful day shopping because I found them!! Mighty expensive though, 4,500 baht - $150 dollars. Biggest purchase in a long time but I know I will love them when I start my backpacking travels.

The bus journey down to the coast went by really quickly compared to some of the 18 hour journeys we have done in the past, and when we found out that the boat journey across to the island was only half an hour, we aggreed the whole journey had been a breeze. ... that lead to nowhere - well, they lead to little roads that are barrierd off as they lead to expenisve resorts! So you cant go anywhere! Pretty pointless! I got to have a go on the bike on a quiet bit of raod round a lake though which was fun! And I was pretty good too!That night, hangovers aside, we all (stupidly) convinced ourselves that we could do that 'Samet pizza challange'! A 20 inch pizza which if you finish you dont pay for!
