    ... tick on the list. By lunchtime we were in Salisbury for a look at the cathedral. It's a beautiful cathedral, but I liked the Bath Abbey more, the stained glass windows were amazing there.     ... so we thought that we would be OK and miss out on a fine.

    My blisters were hurting, so decided to put on a pair of socks, that I had in my bag. Fitted right in with the poms, socks with thongs, hahaha. That was enough to get me back to the car, where I then put on my sandshoes.

    ... heritage but is very cheap (cant think why). I will fly in to hanover (I'm sure there was a WW2 air base there) and drive to Berlin to pick up my old German mate, Oshy.
    From there we drive to Peenemunde (WW2 U-boat base and V2 rocket launch). Maybe have some beers and look at boats then back to Hanover. Back to Southampton and down to London again has The boss has an appt on the 19th.
    I promise to add more as I go.
