    Sadly farewelled St Cleer and headed back to Hampshire. Took a little tour around the village before we left.     Had breakfast in conservatory. At 10.30 took part in the shuffleboard competition. Didn't do very well at all. It was a strange shuffleboard court. The board had a very different layout to what we were used to. The ten and minus ten scoring areas were reversed. Then went to the morning session dance classes for cha cha lessons.     There is a rejuvenation project to improve Bournemouth which has made improvements in recent years. The town centre and park with stalls, mini golf and pedestrian areas are very busy today in the lovely weather.
    At the pier (built 1889) I pay the 60 pence to walk along it past the theatre and the people relaxing on hired sun chairs. The beaches on either side are well populated with people enjoying the gorgeous weather. I buy some Bournemouth ...
