... where it was all 2 lane. Out of the mountains, we drive on and on the flats. We got into Guymon at 7:30 local time, over 10 hours of driving. October 13, Monday We left Guymon around 9:30am where the wind made driving a little difficult. We got to Enid, then it rained on us off and on the whole way home.  It was a long day because of the weather.   We got home around 6:30pm with the wind still blowing and it was quite cool... Home sweet ...

... Travelodge in Holbrook.  We had stayed there a couple of years ago and enjoyed it again this time. September 18, 2014 (Thursday) I started out driving to Flagstaff.  We stopped there and got gas and some groceries at the Safeway there.  We then headed north towards North Rim of Grand Canyon.
