    ... even managed an afternoon sleep. Amazing.

    In the late afternoon the sun finally showed itself, and we
    braaied under the setting sun.

    Cycling in Switzerland is fantastic. Almost everywhere you
    go there are cycle paths and the way that other road users respect you is
    nothing short of amazing, especially for us coming from South Africa. The paths
    are well sign posted which certainly helps in areas where you can easily get


    Day 15. Rest day definitely over......hard work.

    Apart from the campsite at Colombier being very nice we soon
    discovered that sleeping was always going to be a problem since we were
    essentially parked directly under the freeway. All night, the traffic roared
    and hummed until I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to get any sleep. Hence the
    decision to move was not difficult to make.

    ... from Auvernier station
    where we were to catch our connection to Noiaigue. After asking directions from
    a local in our best French we walked up to the correct station where we caught
    our connecting train after an hour wait.

    Eventually we arrived at Noiraigue from where we walked back
    to Boudry through the most amazing gorge. The weather was perfect and the walk
    was fantastic. I suppose a three and a half hour ...

    ... the day (and not for coffee...). Pretty bad, eh? Well, that is not all, it seems that slugs like to find shelter from the rain and when I woke in the middle of the night, I could see the silhouette of a slug above my head. All I could think was that if the slug was on the inside of the tent, I was going to freak out. Fortunately, it was on the outside. I flicked it off, but it only returned with friends, so I spent the night in the company of many slugs. ...

    ... Besancon. On the way we changed direction slightly and aimed for Ornans. I was reading one of the newspaper articles I cut and keep and this town got a good mention. It was a beautiful drive over small roads through the greenest farming country with flowering trees everywhere.
    Tomorrow we check out the town.
