Another day another island, and beautiful weather yet again as we come in towards Tortola. The good news is that we are the only ship in Roadtown, the bad news is that the new jetty and cruise dock is not yet completed so we are tendering. The walk back to the car was quite painful because we'd been on our feet for more than 6 hours after a longish walk in the morning but we made it and we checked in to the Southampton travelodge sometime after 11p.m. where we watched the highlights from the days celebrations in London.
... the name of Peter met us at a place where we crossed over to the island. We were supposed to visit a castle but it was closed for some reason so Peter asked if we would like to tour the island.
