    There was a company doing a new ad for the boat company using a drone. It was cool to see how far they could fly it out away from the boat and video the surroundings. Who knows we maybe in the ad!!

    We really enjoyed our boat ride of almost 3 hours and it was a great way to see what Lake George is all about!!

    Tomorrow is a hike of about 4 miles up Prospect Mountain. Should be fun!!

    ... had seen. This was a resort owned by the YMCA. It is a place a lot of family's come to relax and join in good old family activities.

    On the drive to the YMCA we saw several nice little towns, Bolton and Bolton Landing. All the little towns along the lake have motels, restaurants and plenty of tourists.

    The Lake George area is hopping!!!

    ... is nice, though the load in was a little slow. This venue is cake compared to some of the other ones, so I am not complaining. It is one of a handful that have a balcony, so it is interesting to see. The stage is about average, though the side walls were a bit challenging to put in today.

    Oh well, I was just paged to go back out to my camera, I need to get it set for the show.

    ... field down the way were chatty, but I slept well, unusually for me and awoke to birdsong. There's a hummingbird feeder on the window near the dining table, so I watched one drinking while I was having my toast. I love visiting big cities for a night or 2, but give me a house in the middle of nowhere any day. This is the part of the US many people miss, the parts about 2 hours from most big cities, the countryside, the wildlife, the lakes, trees and mountains. I love ...

    ... the SEN young people that go into mainstream schools. They tend to leave the special schools alone and in fact few could tell me what was happening in their district's special schools. I was impressed by Dr Allington who spoke passionately about reading. And he spoke about the importance of student choice in reading texts, if you find the hook exploit it.
