After rising early & having a quick breakfast , we hiked to the "Best Tour" kiosk in Wenselaus Square. I handed my voucher to the man there & he introduced us to Martin, our guide for the day. Great news!!! No one else had signed up so we were taking a private tour. Yippee!! It took us about an hour to get to Konopiste Castle, which I had seen with our Moldova mission group several years ago. I was sure I had seen it before until I ...

Back on the road again and lots of wind farms along the way. Also paddocks ...

We had a bit of a leaisurely start to the morning and caught the 9am train out to Kutna Hora, about an hour away from Prague. The draw here is the bone church,, the Ossuary in Sedlic. Work began on this church back at the beginning of the 14th century, but was reconstructed in its present form in 1784. It is said to contain the bones of approximately 40,000 people - there were approximately 30,000 people buried here after the plague in 1318, and many more after ...

... with fruit and nuts. We then ordered some special dishes – Lee had pork elbow, and I had a salmon fillet, both of which were delicious. We then finished the meal off with some warm chocolate lava cakes for dessert. We were all so full that we thought we would burst – the food had been delicious, and the service, of course, stellar.

We then finished the night with another bar, which I definitely did not drink beer at! And then headed back to the hostel for a nice ...
