It was so interesting to hear his perspective on the Camino and to get some insights from when he and Yessica were making the documentary. We also got the strongest downpour so far. We're about to leave the hotel now. Another day with 80% chance of rain. The ponchos are ready. Breakfast will be along the way. More hills in our future!!!! We are not quite awake but we are ready! The weather was really crazy today. It would rain off and on all day so we spent a lot of time putting on and off the rain gear. The profile shows it really well. But isn't the shoreline of a fishermen’s village in between restaurants that vie for the seafood tourist an unnatural place for a collection of buildings that is related to farming? It isn’t hard to find a singular hórreo, while driving through the land between the rias, but it is nice to come across three on a slope of a farm.

So its mothers day today and because we are in a foursome of 3 mothers we had a "lay" day and took the BUS. From Tui to Redondela and then walked the hour to our hotel Anton at Soutoxusto.
Very different to our beautiful Portugal. Bigger, newer, dirtier and less gardens, although we have not hit the camino yet.

... the blind called ONCE. The other thing I had forgotten has to do with public toilets. The light switch is controlled by a timer. You really need to remember the location of that switch when you find yourself in darkness after about 15 seconds. I ended up groping around the walls a couple of times.
