... going to climb 6,000 vertical feet. The majority of this route was going to follow the same route the pro riders were going to be doing in the afternoon.
We had about a 30 min van ride into the town of St Jean de Maurienne. From here we unloaded our vans and began our ride. Since the Tour was coming through the town we had to ride on some sidewalks and dodge pedestrians due to so many road closures. After a super short 1/2-mile warm-up it was time to climb. Today we ...
Today we awoke early again to get ready for our ride. This was going to be the first day for us to watch the Tour de France live. As usual we were a bit stiff and sore but there is no time to ease into the morning. We had to eat our breakfast quickly and get dressed and ready to go. some amazing views of the surrounding mountains. We had a picnic lunch at the
top and took a good ...

A beautiful warm morning, no sign of any clouds or rain....that's better than last year.
They let my group go at 7:30am, off we go, 3kms down the ...
