After the very busy day most of our tour group had in Paris, we were a very quiet group with many of us sleeping for at least some off the morning. She said I had come running in with a football under my arm, absolutely covered in blood, with a jagged piece of glass sticking out of my arm. I was rushed to Zurich hospital and straight into the operating theatre. With 48 stitches, this is still the biggest ...

... monument then headed back to the shopping area & wandered along the lovely old town streets. Over Chapel Bridge to get back to our hotel the Waldstatterhof, a 3 star hotel with a great location but quite small single rooms.

Monopole Hotel next dor to ours had a great bar on the top floor with a panoramic view over the city, so enjoyed a drink there before walking to our recommended restaurant, Wirtshaus Taube, for dinner.
