... straight into the glacier cave at -5deg it was somewhat cold. Our next mission was to go walk the cliff hanger bridge a 250 step bridge suspended between two cliffs. Unfortunately the wind had come up and just as we were getting there they decided to close it owing to safety. Today we decided to give Zurich a miss, we're both sick of big cities, so on we went to Lucerne. It was very pretty but also touristy. We had lunch then decided to head on to Engelberg, which is where David's niece lives. We decided to get Gelato late Friday and as we waited patiently, we made the mistake of queuing behind an American. In Switzerland, as in Germany, the flavours are listed in German which even if you don't speak a word you could simply point out. Or pull out your guidebook and at least add a 'danke' on the end of your order. This lady decided she ...

... Don and Shelley had all stripped down to just tee shirts. Views were nothing short of spectacular. The following paragraph is rated PG, it contains blood, violence and swearing. Stopping at the last gondola before we got to the carpark. Shelley and Scot decided to hire some scooters and ride the 3.5 Kim's down hill to the car park. Kay checking out a group just about to leave said " I could do that". We found out it was all down hill and not a steep incline, and ...
