After that we had free time to explore Venice so we walked to the Rialto Bridge and on the way back we had gelato ... did I mention how hot it's been lately?! High 30s to early 40s ... and you can feel every degree because there is hardly any breeze! I know I shouldn't complain when you are in the middle of a polar blast back home!!

It was very tight and a little clostrophobic. We had the most beautiful views of the mountain the whole way up. We took loads of photos and didn't think it could get much better. Well weren't we wrong. Once we were on top of the mountain we had a 360 degree view of ...

Today we are leaving for Switzerland. We are crossing the border and it will take about 7 hours to get there by car. We went through tunnels that were 10 and 17kms long. When we arrived we went up 71 stairs to our third floor apartment. The view was amazing, we could see the top of Mt. Titlis. The apartment was so beautiful. We got used to the different style of things quickly that night.

Today we are going to Mt. Titlis ...
