    ... that rotated a full 360 degrees providing spectacular views, carried us and nearly 75 of our (now) closest friends, to the top. Once at the top Tom and Dana trekked through the snow, traversed a suspension bridge over the ice-capped cliffs, and walked through an ice cave, complete with ice sculptures, all while freezing in our light jackets! There are restaurants and gift shops at the peak, but apparently ...

    ... tunnels to pass, if Switzerland was attacked they could destroy all entries to the country in 15 minutes. Thunderstorms raged over the peaks as we climbed to Engelberg and our hotel. Some amazing beer yet again with a hearty soup and venison for dinner. Ice cream and chocolate for dessert. When I sort some free wifi tomorrow I will post some pics from my last few ...

    ... snow. We drove to the chair lift starting point. We caught one that took us about half way (it holds 6 people). From there we took a gondola which holds 80 people for another 5 minutes, then we took another gondola which holds 80 people and has rotating floor to the top. We got off the gondola and went out into the snow. Dad and I made a snow man, put a hat and sunglasses on him. While we were making the snowman it started snowing on us. ...

    ... very beautiful too, it is between two alpine blue lakes with peaks of snowy mountains. From there we got a short train up the mountains to a valley at 2612ft and the town of Lauterbrunnen. There are about 72 waterfalls in the valley including one internally crashing through a mountain, and the most spectacular is just 1km away and right outside our window. What a treat.

    We had another little bit of excitement at the Interlaken ...

    ... yes folks you guessed it, Amsterdam.
    Drugs and prostitutes are not exactly my thing but it would just seem wrong to go to Amsterdam and not at least have a look at some "working girls" and smoke a joint or two. My first day in Amsterdam I split some space cake with a friend and a couple of hours later both of us were very stoned, needless to say the rest of the day was a right off until later on at night when a bunch of us went out to play 3D glow in the dark ...
