          ... the Niagara River, dispatched canoes laden with musket blazing soldiers which promptly triggered an extremely loud retort of cannon fire all around us. Women screamed and children cried. It was loud. And colorful. And exciting. And smoky.           ... we got our moose. We saw fishers, wolverines, bald eagles and lots of moose but there are no deer nor coyotes here, go figure! Throughout the night, we could hear wolves. After 8 nights of listening to Buck snore louder than a grizzly's growl, we threw his bedroll outa the cabin. He slept on the picnic table "like a Mexican" with his arms crossed on his chest - a knife in one hand and a pistol in the other. HAHA

          ... clearing and creek crossing improvements until 3PM. After a quick snack, we headed back to the moose calling until 7PM. Supper was always late.           ... are still flooded. Out trip through Winnipeg was a wonderful experience, again. A car full of Indians zipped in front of our motorhome and for the next 15 minutes they would slam on the brakes stick their arm out the window and give us the finger.
