Last stop in the Philippines for now
... out any extra cash for some air con. What they don't tell you is that every room has an extremely powerful ceiling fan that works just fine, as I was actually rather chilly with it all the way on. Besides that, they have a nice, hot water shower free of charge! I somehow also lucked out and got fulltime access to their wifi with no additional charge...but I'm not going to complain!
Next stop: Kota ...

... to Angeles again anytime soon until I find a big hotel close to the action with a decent swimming pool to hang out in during the day.
But night time is still quite a lot of fun. People watching and then Gogo bar hopping until the wee hours of the morning. With most drinks between $3-5 you can drink and buy drinks for others ...

Eruptions
... cool, the walk was relatively
challenging with uneven, rocky ground and the occasional leap across
cracks, or wade through a river. I was proud that I managed to keep
up the pace with the boys, although to be fair the Canadians were
suffering after after a 2.30am drunken finish that morning and
weren't at their most athletic.

into the walk we passed the 'security station', where officers sat
with their guns, chuckling away and waving at us cheerfully. ...
Party time
... the closure of Clark but it is rebounding nicely and can be quite packed with sex tourists on the weekends. Rich Koreans in particular flock to this little slice of heaven.
Fields Avenue or Walking street is lined with about 30-40 gogo bars, some not much larger than your living room at home with 4-5 girls dancing all the way up to huge clubs like Club Atlantis that have more than 250 girls on display.
