We find a gas station and stop and get some gas. Look at the map I find that the road we are on would take us straight down to al place called Omaha where we can cut back onto the main Freeway. We have some extra time today, so I double check with the gas attendant and "Yes Sir... that will take you to the 77 and down to Freemont"
Not too much to report today. We had breakfast at the motel, showered and then went over to the shop to pick up a few things from the motorhome. We needed to do some laundry and the detergent, stain remover, fabric softener etc. was in the motorhome. Also, I was out of shampoo and body wash and needed to refill my travel bottles. Our second day in Rapid City, Todd was able to break away from work long enough for us to do a whirl wind sight seeing tour to Mt. Rushmore, Black Hills NP, Deadwood & Sturgis. We did get some photos in at Mt. Rushmore a drink in Deadwood and an early dinner in Sturgis, but otherwise we mostly enjoyed the drive on a beautiful day.
