... la Luna and drove past the Atacama Large Millimetre Array (giant telescope). Amazing scenery everywhere. Next day was a day off relaxing by the hotel pool, getting laundry done and trying to work out how to get to the one and only fuel station within 100 miles. As the crow flies it was 100yds but the maze of one way streets made it a nightmare.

... afternoon. We find an English-styled pub. Very nice looking interior, wood and cozy. They had cafe fundador which I really liked. 6 pesos. I ordered some medialunas. Nick got jamon y queso tostado - which is ham and cheese toasted sandwich. We chill there for a while, chatting.
This shall be very frequent in the days in Tucuman because I know that we will not have that experience in Bolivia and it is quite nice.

... town around lunch time and it soon became apparent that the town was absolutely packed to the rafters with holiday makers and weekend travellers. Tafi is a certainly a weathly looking town with lots of big houses, particularly dotted around the foothills on the outside of town.
Manouvering the big beastie in traffic like this is always a challenge and we quickly decided not to stick around in the main part of town.
