... about all the stuff - the house painting - the photo editing - the preparations for my departure on tuesday for Portland. So I said good-bye Otto and set off from his place with my kayak back on my car around 12:30. I made it home by 4 pm and tried to get some things done, but as usual as soon as I brought out my paint can, the sky darkened. Oh, well - tomorrow, it must be!

It has been too long since the last outing with Otto because I broke my wrist last year and was out for the summer and then flew by as I prepared for Emma's visit.

... a mile to the top. There we had a 360 degree of the landscape-an amazing view in to both Vermont and Canada. We went down much more quickly then we went up-an 246 ft. elevator ride to the bottom. We enjoyed the majesty of the mountains, the amazing scenery and the views that only higher elevations can provide.
