After a weekend in the vets she was like a different dog, it was lovely to see her wagging her tail and moving around a lot more. Jade decided that they should go and live somewhere they would be more happy and they ended up going to a place that looks after dogs where they would have space to run around and be happy.     Today we drove from Fort Lauderdale to Miami, a much easier drive than around the highways of Los Angeles. All excited for our cruise on the Carnival Victory and we were not disappointed. Fantastic big ship, our room is huge, food everywhere, lots of activities.... And kids club.     ... We also drove through Little Havana, which, as far as “Little” places go, was quite dull. The Miami Beach part of the tour was more interesting. Many of the buildings were built in an art deco style, and are protected now. We saw the hotel where “The Birdcage” was filmed and passed “Star Island” – home of many celebrities and also the white house from Scarface (“say hello to my little friend!”). ...
