    ... was another highlight

Time visiting old friends Geraldine, Ronald and Charlie is always a highlight - we thought at one stage we may even get to meet the new baby but no.

It was also great to visit Frankie and Richard and their new super house in the Pyrenees....we now understand.

I must mention HiHo the mighty Pug 308 - smaller but nippier than our normal 3008 and I was very pleased to have it when I managed the ...

It was a hot and very humid day and amongst the buildings of the city there was not a trace of breeze. We had no set plan for our visit and ...

When it opened I chose an outside table and ordered bruschetta as a starter and Pizza Dracular for main. While I was sitting waiting for my meal a familiar voice came from behind, "dougie Brown how are you". It was Bill and Joan who had arrived the day before me. So we enjoyed a meal together then returned to the ...

... both slept solidly for about 6 hours over night on the plane. I didn't want to get up but then God forbid I miss a meal.

We got to the hotel near Malpensa (Milan) Airport without much delay. Got the shuttle to the hotel. Our room had no air conditioning, so they moved us to another room. I knew I'd need the cool air or wouldn't sleep at ...
