Charming, well-appointed hotel set in former home of famous Peruvian archaeologist Julio C Tello. Original murals on walls and fabulous location 5 mins from Larcomar shopping centre. Walking distance to shops and markets in Miraflores. 24 hour reception, safe location, wonderful beds, pillows, patios, breakfast included. Served us 4:30 am breakfast to accommodate our early flight.

Arriving we picked up or bags and proceeded towards our check-in, only to find that they wanted to check out check-in luggage... by hand. Bruno's bag is completely packed and so is mine, after they opened Bruno's bag and found it full, Bruno explained that mine was even worse, so he just let it past. After checking in we ...

It ended up with me going back to Lima and Hector. It might not be a fairytale ending, but at least I have changed enough, to follow my feelings over logic sense. At some point, I have realised, that some off the fears and insecurities I started out with travelling, somehow have ...

Once on the bus, we discovered that we needed to pay the fare in American pesos. But that's is where our luck turned. We met a young American guy on the bus (who happened to teach German at a local university) who paid our fare, told us how to get to the other airport and tipped ...

Lima is under constant redevelopment and the newest, local project close to Mili is the building of a 9-storey parking lot. The construction work is apparently causing cracks to emerge right the way through the church. In fact, one emerged during ...
