... went off and woke the whole hotel! Hahaha We have actually had a busy day sightseeing today, so I have lots of piccys. No buffet breakfast included this time so we wandered up the street and came across a little French cafe, just the place for brekky. Chowed down on granola and yoghurt and some toast - yum. Lots of yummy bagels, baguettes and pastries here ... Might come back tomorrow :) Off on our day ...
Well today was a self indulgent one....one where all cricket tragics long to go and experience the home of cricket, Lord's! On again, we hop onto the metro and navigate our way to St. John's Wood then make the short walk to the ground. There is only one tour on today as there is a county cricket match in progress, Middlesex v Northamptonshire. We are met by our guide, Michael, and he was thoroughly entertaining. He took us around the ground, through the museum, into the media centre, ...
... in one huge building. Being the five year old I am I really enjoyed looking at all the old swords, all rusted. After the British museum we spent literally half an hour walking around the same few blocks in soho waiting for an outside table to crop up at a bar or pub; it's ridiculous how packed it was. Eventually we got a table at a little bar cafe thing only to find it was incredibly expensive. We had one drink (jug) there then decided to ...
... keep my arms down!) So it was kind of a whirlwind tour of London. The weather was gorgeous and sunny the whole time (I hear that is super unusual) and I never did get to meet Kate and exchange secrets about how she gets her hair so shiny but we had an awesome time there! I can't believe we only have ten days left on this trip! It seems like a long time but also a short time. Alrighty I think that's it for now! M&E P.S. Tallulah (AKA Wendy C), thought that if we were to have any chance of breaking the bank at Vegas she needed to teach us how to play poker so threw a dinner party with casino to follow.
