We are enjoying the space of our apartment compared to all the small B&Bs and hotel rooms. It is wonderful to do the washing, watch TV, cook if we want and have a large bedroom. The area where the apartment is located is set one street back from the main Street of Notting Hill and has large trees and a quiet suburban feel. Just over the road is Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. The only downside is ...

... for too much time analysing the fellow but thumbs up for successfully stumping us and the rest of the crowd. Embracing our inner children today, we jumped aboard the large Ferris wheel, played some mini golf, I had a ball on the carousel and we both enjoyed an ice cream (complete with a flake of course) on the pier. Then we headed to the bar for a pint to wash down our lunch of fish and chips. Delish. There are good things about being a grown up. We finished off our day in Brighton ...

... kitted out with a double bed, closets, a desk ad lots of drawers. Perfect for us for a month. The flat is pretty laid back, with another kiwi girl, another Irishman and an Australian making up the flat. We are all out when the house sells in a month. After chatting and paying our months rent we left and returned to our little hotel, stopping at greggs for a dinner sandwich. Tomorrow we move ...
