Today, Karen and I explored the wonderful Royal Botanic Gardens, which were a short walk from our hotel. We encountered multiple interesting birds and a great diversity of fabulous planting material. If you are ever here, absolutely do not miss this extraordinary garden.

The bar does have a beautiful view of The Opera House on a clear day and whilst we could see it, it did get a little hazy after a while! ... the breeze was nice on this very humid day).

The walk down was quicker, and being last in line, I was assigned the task of 'doorman' .. closing the heavy steel doors that protect the bridge pathways from anyone not on the tour.

We would really recommend the Bridge Climb to anyone. It was fantastic.
