... we took the tram back to the car park where we'd left our cute little diesel car... I so want one! With no professional training at left side driving, Joe got us safely to Stirling (well, Bridge of Allan really) with us having to only nervously yell " left!" On a few times when he drifted back to his comfy American style of driving... It is the correct way after all ;-) It was a full day so we were pretty happy to be able to sleep in a bed instead of a coach airline ...

It was only an hour's drive to Melrose but we stopped en-route at the Carfraemill Hotel for some lunch.
