Motor Homing Scotland!!

A travel blog entry by melrobertson on Aug 13, 2014

So we started our motor homing trip around Scotland 2nd of August. We flew from Heathrow up to Edinburgh and I went to pick up Dad Davidson from the train station, while Sim went to pick up our fancy "spaceship camper". We had a look around for my last name but only came across one tombstone for an Isabela. I thought there would have been more... maybe in other cemeteries. Or maybe people in my family just live for forever?

From there we discovered an outdoor exhibit at the University of Edinburg law school? It was a ...

... Chapel. This was awesome! Remember " The Divinci Code". Some of it was filmed here. The stonework is amazing. Rich Family started building this chapel 1036. He started building it when he was 30 but died when he was 35 so it never got to be completed to the big cathedral he envisaged. Lovely columns built by apprentice who ...
