... drove off the highway and took a lot of small and winding, one-way-in-parts roads through the farms and tiny towns of northern Wales. Our friend Shelley (the nav-woman) got us to the place we were staying for the evening. If you’ve never heard of Montgomery in Wales, this is fair enough. ... I had earlier on the night and that the red bull was taking affect as my heart was beating really fast and I was having trouble breathing. I note to self that red bull does not give you wings. I return to my room to find that my room mate is missing and start to worry. After about 30 minutes of search, I find out from reception that she has broken her arm and is in hospital. I return to pack her things as she can no longer continue the tour and try to rest up for a long day towards Wales ...

... right? The next night, I brought it up again till one guy said "oh there was someone famous here last night, it was Callum, from Masterchef". Everyone could not help but laugh as to how I went from Masterchef to Harry Potter... The next day, we went on a beautiful hike through the Scottish mountains (or what my tour guide thought it really was - a walk). ... and it is pretty funny. Although if you are easily offended, or even offended by normally offensive things, I wouldn't recommend watching his videos. Williamson was pretty impressive, very good on stage and even performed a few songs which was a surprise. Anyone not from Australia would have missed a lot of the humour, however he was right up our alley.

... but the sites are rather spread out. We got off a bus in the town and walked back the touristy souvenir street for several blocks to our hotel. Should have been given the option to buy a half day pass for the step on and off buses that go throughout city. A couple of people took the bus system to see the British Open at Muir Field. We did the optional pub dinner. Nice venue...another converted ...
