... not sure I like this

-Bruges' small, cozy, seemingly-random street layout is very cute but it basically functions like a maze and is very difficult to navigate. American cities may not have as much soul but at least you can find things without being reduced to a confused mess

With only time for one night in Bruges, we got up bright and early at seven, downed some Belgian crepes with yoghurt again, skipped the cheese course, and were almost out the door when we noticed the dates didn't seem right on our train tickets to Paris. Turns out we'd planned two nights in Bruges after all and didn't need to leave in such a hurry. But... Brussels. Meh. So we left early anyway.

... brewers ourselves, but we still search out and take all brewery tours possible. Is it the free beer at the end? Perhaps. At one point we climbed up on the roof of the old brewery section. It was lovely up there and great views. So the tour was fine, the patter was humorous and the usual, and the end beer was lovely.

... evening of our adventure we thought it best to treat ourselves to a nice three course meal, in a lovely little restaurant called Le Belle Epoque. The decor was inspired by Becky’s favourite artist, Mucha, whose exhibition we had both enjoyed in Prague. The food once again was of high quality, with both of us opting for massive steaks.
