... water, juices and ice cream. We are close to the break even point with 2 days to go. So last day drinks will be free!! Yeh! The other advantage of this is that you are not surprised by a large final day bill at check out when you discover that you consumed more than you thought. No show tonight so we will have pre-dinner drinks and will have dinner on our own as Alex and Julie are ashore for dinner and we don't sail till midnight. Ciao for now and tomorrow it is ...

Cap de Formentor

Our next adventure (after school, of course!) was to head out to Cap de Formentor. This is a remote point of the island in the north-east corner. It was a little strange without having Trisha in class, but also nice to have Andrea as a friendly face. After class, I joined James by the pool for lunch and then we jumped in the car for a mini road trip. We headed to Portals Vells, where there was a ...

Aqualand

A travel blog entry by gregglucking on Sep 14, 2014

Today we rediscovered our inner children and headed to Aqualand - the waterpark in Arenal. John, Andrea, Selina and I were joined by Trisha and Will for a really fun afternoon. The park was pretty quiet as most of the tourists had gone home, and I think the longest we queued for any of the rides was 15 minutes - and you could tell by the way the place was set up that usually the queues are a lot longer! Some slides used rubber rings, others we could pair up ...
