Having sailed through the night, we sailed into the Port of Mytilene (Mitilini), Nisos Lesbos, a part of Greece, at around 7:30am. Due to the limited depth of the port and the size of our ship, we had to anchor outside of the harbour. To alight and go into the City of Mytilene, we had to utilise the safety boats to make our way to land. This is called the "Tendering Process" to the coast.

Today's port visit was cancelled to high winds and high seas. This was to be a tender port, 2 metre waves, gale force winds and old americans don't mix, so it was a bonus sea day. the crew quickly organised extra activities to keep this small town happy.
