    ... acquainted with a giant locust that kept flinging itself into her head. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast and talked to the American couple managing the place and before we knew it we were off back into La Fortuna to be reunited with Aslak and to catch our bus back to San Jose without the girls.

    It was a jam packed weekend full of unreal experiences and a great way to see off two people I've come to regard as great friends. Hasta Luego girls.

    ... Ivy and I wallowed in the shallows as thousands of minnows milled about us. If you swooped your hand under them, they would jump out of the water and actually hit you in the face (this was utterly hilarious to Ivy).
