Flip the sea-coined suns to watch them spin.

Dinner was delicious, if slow. We ate at Maria's, which is this tiny, family run restaurant on the beach, where your meal is prepared individually by the husband and wife team, with grandma doing prep and the 10 year old daughter passing out the beers while you wait. ...

... sea wasn't as choppy as we had thought.....until we saw the biggest wave either of us had ever seen coming towards us! It was so big it completely blocked out our view of the horizon! Kevin's eyes were popping out his head like he had seen a ghost! Thankfully we got through it although the boat did lean right over. Such a relief to finally make it to Sanur! However, I must say, five hours in a spa was a little much for me....I had no nails for the manicure! Mo fell quite ill over the next four days, so Kelly and I were on our own. After hiring a couple of bikes, we went out to explore, and I was so glad to be back on a good bike! We visited the local market; it's crazy and packed. The locals are awful really the way ...

        Kuta beach & Sky Garden

A travel blog entry by alexkennewell1 on Sep 03, 2013

Went to the beach, not as nice as Gilis or as I'd expected. Nevertheless we then went for some lunch and chilled around the pool for the afternoon. Got the beers in for dinner and went straight to Sky Garden. Cool club with lots of floors, roof top best one. Smashed rum and cokes and lost two English girls whilst pat went off with oldie to Seminyak! Long way ...
