San Sebastián, The Seaside Jewel!
... up a wee bit late. But Martin became friends with some lovely Spanish Grandmas that helped us pass the time!
A quick trip back and then the fun began for the evening!
We met a group of Erasmus students studying in Madrid from the UK and we had a great time chit chatting and sharing some wine at the Hostel. Turns out one of the girls had done an exchange in Banff of all places and the other had family in Calgary! Small world ...
The Conch and the Pinxtos
... cars cannot pass.
-You walk in and hope that there is a table or counter free, because again, the best bars are usually full of people.

down the footpaths. The summit however ...

Stayed a few miles north of Biarritz in a place called 'Anglet'. Giant Aire for campervans, and the T4 was without doubt the ...
San Sebastain (Hola!) & Nice (Bonjour!)
The next chapter of our travels is an interesting one, our backpacking skills were definitely put to the test. We decided to go to San Sebastian in Spain, so we got up before the sun and caught the train to Montparnasse Bienvenue to try and organise our Eurail passes. We were unable to get on the direct train from Paris to San Sebastian that we wanted, but the lady at the desk was so helpful and she found us another train. We had to literally run to catch a train ...
