... and then joined Mike and the girls who were tubing down the "rapids" on the river that passes from one end of the campground to the other. We had a lot of fun.
Friday night we had another great campfire and spent time swapping adventure stories with the Deal family that had just come back from Frontier Days out in Wyoming.
Saturday was our last day in Ballston Spa, we headed over to Congress park in downtown Saratoga. This is one of our favorite places to visit! We fed the ducks, rode the carousel, ate some sea salt caramel ice cream and checked out a local bookstore. Afterwards we headed to Aunt Darlene's and Uncle Bill's for an afternoon ...

Stopped at a roof top bar and grill for a much needed drink and bite to eat and then to watch a pickup baseball game at Doubleday Field.
On our travels we stopped at a creamery for some ice cream and they must have known Chris was coming. There were signs all over saying "NO". We were allowed in the creamery. Whew!
... of the past?). The Abbott and Costello "Who's on First" routine was a riot to see in its entirety and got us all laughing. Glad the kids now know it. We were hoping to swim in the lake, but the clouds opened up. Luckily, we were able to play board games in a very welcoming (and dry) ...
... Marina in St. Johnsville, NY and were happy to tie up to a concrete wall off the canal proper. We walked to the town for dinner, and Sue departed the next morning to return to Massachusetts.
