    Tolles Hotel/Apartment

    from

    from

    Absolument fantastique !

    from

I proprietari era sempre gentili e disponibili.

    Great Hotel/Apartment

    from

Stayed at Britselei 37, while doing a Triathlon in Antwerp. The apartment was very well furnished with excellent facilities. The owners were at all times very friendly and helpful. They really made an effort to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Britselei 37 is about a 10-15min walk from the heart of Antwerp.

    Absolutely phantastic!

    from

we stayed at the britselei 37 with our 4 month old baby. the set up was perfect, the rooms all appear to consist of a living / kitchen area, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. everything was extremely clean, new, the furniture tasteful, and a comp fridge filled with wine, water, juice, yoghurt, etc. the hotel does not have a restaurant but to be honest we did not miss this at all as we were given bread, spreads and had fresh croissants delivered to our room for breakfast. there was absolutely nothing i could complain about, i have not yet stayed at a better, more beautiful and clean hotel so far. while it is not located right in next to the old church, the walk to most attractions is extremely short. highly recommended!

    ¡absolutamente fantástico!

    from

    from

    Friendly owners, beautiful room

    from

The hotel rooms are in a grand, converted townhouse which looks to be late 1800's or early 1900's. Our room had 14 foot ceilings with beautiful painted decoration, 2 non-working original fireplaces, high windows and original hardwood floors with inlay.

The owners installed small, modern kitchens stocked with an espresso machine (they include the coffee) and a refrigerator with beer and wine! The bathrooms are also modern and include 2 sinks.

The owners went out of their way to make car, dinner and taxi reservations for my wife and me. The restaurant choice was amazing. And I even came home to dried and folded clothes after doing some "emergency" wash in the sink.

For business, the free internet and car service made my stay quite easy. This is much better value for money than most any hotel I've stayed in.

    Highly recommended.

... when shaving the night before (safe? Probably not but it was entertaining) we arose from our sunny waterfront spot and started the wander back towards our hostel. The Luke's grabbed a pizza on the way home for dinner and we had a cruise quiet night in at the hostel after a big few days in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Chilled Sunday's with good food, cold beers, sunshine and good company. ...

We tried two more beers, one that was kind of red in color and fruity and they other that was described as “hoppy” and was not one that I could finish. Afterwards, we went back to the ship for lunch and instead of eating at Arthur’s, we chose to eat at the buffet today. It was OK, ...

... Will you tell me what we’re doing?” We emerged on the 10th floor, and walked out into the cold night air. Below me lay a Brussels panorama. The Grand Place, twinkling and dancing on one side, and the Christmas Market of St Catherine’s on the other, the black night sky punctuated by the illuminated Ferris wheel and the white lights of the wooden huts below. It really was beautiful. After taking some photos and watching the world go by, ...

... I now know why I got the face I did from a friend when I told her I was staying in that part of the city.

I've always thrived being around a lot of ethnic minorities. In fact, I prefer being around a diverse group of cultures instead of just one dominant culture. Walking through seedy neighbourhoods in New York City and San Francisco never bothered me. However, doing so in this ...
