    Tolles Hotel/Apartment

    from

    from

    Absolument fantastique !

    from

I proprietari era sempre gentili e disponibili.

    Great Hotel/Apartment

    from

Stayed at Britselei 37, while doing a Triathlon in Antwerp. The apartment was very well furnished with excellent facilities. The owners were at all times very friendly and helpful. They really made an effort to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Britselei 37 is about a 10-15min walk from the heart of Antwerp.

    Absolutely phantastic!

    from

we stayed at the britselei 37 with our 4 month old baby. the set up was perfect, the rooms all appear to consist of a living / kitchen area, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. everything was extremely clean, new, the furniture tasteful, and a comp fridge filled with wine, water, juice, yoghurt, etc. the hotel does not have a restaurant but to be honest we did not miss this at all as we were given bread, spreads and had fresh croissants delivered to our room for breakfast. there was absolutely nothing i could complain about, i have not yet stayed at a better, more beautiful and clean hotel so far. while it is not located right in next to the old church, the walk to most attractions is extremely short. highly recommended!

    ¡absolutamente fantástico!

    from

    from

    Friendly owners, beautiful room

    from

The hotel rooms are in a grand, converted townhouse which looks to be late 1800's or early 1900's. Our room had 14 foot ceilings with beautiful painted decoration, 2 non-working original fireplaces, high windows and original hardwood floors with inlay.

The owners installed small, modern kitchens stocked with an espresso machine (they include the coffee) and a refrigerator with beer and wine! The bathrooms are also modern and include 2 sinks.

The owners went out of their way to make car, dinner and taxi reservations for my wife and me. The restaurant choice was amazing. And I even came home to dried and folded clothes after doing some "emergency" wash in the sink.

For business, the free internet and car service made my stay quite easy. This is much better value for money than most any hotel I've stayed in.

    Highly recommended.

So my first time in Amsterdam didn't leave a wonderful impression on my mind. I put it down to my mood. This second time was more enjoyable, and my mood was better. Still, Amsterdam isn't as amazing as I'd been told or hoped. It is pretty, but not as glorious as in architecture as Bruges, Ghent or Antwerp in Belgium. It has good food, but nothing as delicious as the waffles of Belgium or the pastas of Italy. It does have many museums, and somewhat strangely we didn't make it to ...

    Thursday 28th.
Today we have been for a pretty comprehensive walking tour of Antwerp. Nieke and her Mum Lotty are very passionate about their city and know so much of it's history and are wonderful "tour guides" We must have walked for about 6 hours and because Antwerp is so compact we saw much of the inner city. There are so many Churches, beautiful architecture and Virgin Mary on every street as she is one of the Patron Saints of Antwerp. In Ireland we ...

Thanks to a local she showed us retards how to use it. Never would have figured it out without her! Thanks lady at the mat!! ;) Since we had time to kill while the clothes were in the dryer we decided to all go find dinner somewhere. We finally came to a ...

Okay, let's be honest, Brussels is cool. But it truly did not even compare to Bruges. I love Bruges. It may have been touristy when I was there, but Brussels was too.
(side note: Going in to Belgium I knew that it was famous for its beer, chocolate and waffles. I also knew that Brussels is the capital of the European Union and it really shows because everyone there speaks at the very least French, Dutch and English.)
Anyway, we started out the trip late ...

... cobblestone streets that looked like they were pedestrian only & finally thriugh construction zones. After an hour of driving around, Kareem said enough & we decided to go instead to the Audi drop point Enter disaster #2. Our GPS led us to the address we had from Audi (or so we thought) but it made no sense. We could not find the building or anything that closely resembled it. We drove back & forth, back & forth. After an hour, ...
