... so cool to drive back through Italy again where all the hills are just absolutely covered in vineyards. Luckily we made no wrong turns today and Helga cooperated to make it a wonderful drive back through the mountains.

... and well above the clouds, I was a little less nervous and ready to go. Our first run was a disaster. We made a wrong turn (suggested by myself – good one Lo) and went down 1A instead of 1B. The hill wasn’t too bad but when we got down a little further we had two choices. One was to continue down a very steep hill which was no longer a blue or take a 't bar’ up to another hill. We boarded for 4 days straight, we were sore but there was no way we were missing a day to rest. We are all determined to return to Austria again and are already planning our next trip.
What could have been potentially a very depressing, boring holiday turned into something spontaneous and awesome!!

... Chamonix. The mist even cleared up long enough for us to have clear views of Innsbruck and the countryside down below. A wonderful experience.

On our way out of Innsbruck to Venice we stopped of at the Ambras Castle which is a renaissance castle built in the sixteenth century between 1569 and 1572 for Archduke Ferdinand II. Most of out time was spent in the wonderful gardens around the castle.
